Take a tour with me through the constellation of Pisces, the Fishes. This tour will be conducted using Stellarium and released on YouTube. This is part of a series of 88 virtual sky tours that will take you around the entire sky, one constellation at a time. Join me as we go through the constellation's location in the sky, it's brighter stars, double stars, and a few deep-sky objects.
These tours will be presented on Monday evenings at 7:00PM, although
perhaps not every Monday. Each tour will run for 10 to 30 minutes.
Please RSVP below if you plan on attending.
Event: Ignite the Night TAMPA, a virtual event
Date: March 9, 2021 (Deadline for entries: Jan. 29, 2021)
Time: 3-5 p.m. EDT
Focus Areas: Power Generation/Energy, Resource Optimization, Small Satellite Technology, Space-Age Packaging Solutions, and X-Factor Innovations
Livestream URL: livestream.com/nasaitech
NASA iTech’s Ignite the Night events give tech startups across the U.S. the opportunity to “fast pitch” their innovations to an audience and panel of judges. The high energy competition connects entrepreneurs to space industry experts and potential investors with the goal of shining a spotlight on innovations that could improve life here on Earth, while also solving technical challenges of NASA's exploration missions.
Innovators interested in competing in an Ignite the Night submit short whitepaper entries during the "call for ideas" window for each event at NASAiTech.org. From these entries, NASA iTech selects 10 finalists to present at each Ignite the Night event. The top innovator from each Ignite the Night event earns a position as one of 25 semifinalists for the current NASA iTech cycle. As a semifinalist, their technology will be evaluated further and has a chance to be selected as one of the top 10 finalists to present at the next NASA iTech forum.
NOTE: Most events require registration at least one day prior to the event
